Not only drunk in March

In the good old days, this bottom-fermented beer specialty was only available between March and September. It was a shame. But you weren't allowed to brew after March because there was no refrigeration. And so a stronger beer was needed that could last that long. It's a good thing we're even better today, and our full-bodied Märzen is available year-round. Every brew is a festive beer with a full-bodied, robust initial sip, followed by a light hop bitterness. With nutty and caramel aromas, this beer, brewed a little stronger, provides a drinking experience steeped in history, just as it always has been.
