In the good old days, this bottom-fermented beer specialty was only available between March and September. A real bummer. But you weren't allowed to brew after March because there was no refrigeration. So, a stronger brew was needed to keep it fresh for that long. Luckily, we have it even better today, and our full-bodied Märzen is available all year round. Every batch is a festive beer with a rich, robust initial taste, followed by a light hop bitterness. With nutty and caramel aromas, this beer, brewed a bit stronger, delivers the same historic drinking experience as always.
